At first, one reason why I joined Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) is my buddy Kelvin Lim is in and is doing well. So I was influenced by his success and make a step from my comfort-zone which I used to dislike insurance industry. However, having gone through the base camp and a talk with Peter Tan himself, sharing his past and current experiences in the base camp, reason of joining grew.

What draws my intention, was not only in the base camp, but everyday life in Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®), is their culture. Because of the belief of the people, and the activities facilitate the cohesiveness among the group, it defined uniquely family culture. It is eventually one of the reasons why I joined Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®).

I believe joining an organisation must not only join in physically but also mentally as well. Showing up in the work-place does not constitute to the work done, but only partial. Family culture, to me brings in motivation for us to come to work or participate in the activities. The environment that creates friendly, supportive and team-based which induce positive and delightful ambience, creating a drive to show up to work. To constitute a work done, mentally is also needed into the ingredient. Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) has creates a mindset that make a Financial Consultant successful in career and also in life. It draws the importance of sense of urgency and responsibility for every action to fulfil the goal set by us and by organisation. Peter Tan also said before, Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) is on the train moving off to their goal and it is everybody’s efforts that drives it. It creates a sense of appreciation that the organisation recognise onto the people. Which is also became my last reason why I decided to stay onto Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®).

Lastly, it doesn’t matter why I joined Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) but the importance is what I can achieve for Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) and what I can achieve for myself.
